Crafting Beautiful Organs that Sing

For more than 50 years Temple Organs have blessed churches with fine music. The traditional tonalities of the organ have been keenly honed into cohesive sonorities that are a pleasure to hear.

Frederick Cool founded the company in 1953, and his son, David Cool, continues the tradition with innovative, highly effective craftsmanship in modern wind chests and comfortable consoles. Tonalities were developed with the experienced hands of Jon Bertschinger. Today, Temple Organs can be heard from East to West across the American heartland, in villages and larger city churches.

Whether building a new worship center or refreshing an older meeting house, Temple Organs can provide a fine sounding instrument for worship and praise. Many fine organs by past masters have been moved, rebuilt, and refined for new churches. Organs of limited tonal resources can be expanded and modernized without losing the charm and heart of their forebears. Creativity is a key principle employed at Temple Organs when working with new projects, including artistic approaches to keeping the projects affordable, a refreshingly cooperative idea with today's rapidly escalating organ prices. Keeping overhead low has a desirable effect when building a new organ.
